Liverpool and Arsenal are both still on alert for PSG defender Mamadou Sakho.
Sakho has been seen as a potential replacement for Jamie Carragher who will retire in the summer.
Arsenal are also thought to be lining up a move for a new defender as they have had defensive problems this season.
Sakho told French paper L'Equipe: "In the mind of the PSG coach, I'm the third (in the pecking order of central defenders).
"I finally come to accept it even if I do not understand it.
"I have to play at club level to qualify for the France team. Next season will be important.
"It's been a difficult year and a half for me at PSG. To continue my progress, I must be playing."
Sakho is contracted at the Parc des Princes until 2014.
