Tom Ince has distanced himself from a move to Liverpool or Manchester United - claiming he is solely focused on Blackpool.
The Seasiders star has been linked with a summer transfer away from Bloomfield Road after some superb displays for the Championship outfit.
Brendan Rodgers' side were the closest to landing the 21-year-old, who picked up the Football League Young Player of the Year award on Sunday night, but failed to agree a deal in January.
And the Tangerines star has told talkSPORT that while he is flattered by the interest from the Premier League giants, he is concentrating only on Blackpool.
When asked whether he was near to agreeing a deal to leave the Lancashire club in the January transfer window, he said: "I don't think any of the moves were close.
"It's great having that speculation and it's very flattering. To have teams of that magnitude saying you're a decent player, it gives me a smile and flatters me a lot.
"For me though it's about putting my faith in Blackpool because without that club, my team-mates and the fans I wouldn't be Football League Young Player of the Year and the player I am now.
"My dream is to play at the top level and to achieve my ambitions, but it's all about timing and patience, so when you get to the top you are ready to go and not jumping too soon."
