Liverpool manager Brendan Rodgers is considering a £9m move for Algerian attacking midfielder Sofiane Feghouli this summer. The Reds boss is targeting four signings ahead of next season as he bids to push the club towards Champions League qualification, with a playmaker among the areas set to be strengthened. Valencia midfielder Feghouli is thought to be on Rodgers' shortlist, along with Newcastle winger Hatem Ben Arfa, Fiorentina's Mounir El Hamdaoui and Ajax star Christian Eriksen. According to reports in his homeland, Liverpool are prepared to offer around £9m to sign the 23-year-old former Grenoble player. Algerian newspaper Le Buteur states that the Merseyside club are tracking Feghouli with a view to a bid this summer, although the Los Che star is not pushing for a move. With his current contract set to run until 2016 after a recent extension, Valencia could play hard-ball with Liverpool for Feghouli who they value at closer to £15m.
