Ajax star Christian Eriksen admits that he could have played his last game for the club after lifting the Eredivisie trophy for a third consecutive season.

As exclusively revealed by Goal.com, the 21-year-old is a target for Tottenham, who made an enquiry in late 2012, while club official Marc Overmars has suggested that Liverpool have been scouting him for a long period. Borussia Dortmund are among the continental sides also linked with the playmaker.

The Danish starlet has already indicated to the club that he does not wish to see out his contract, which expires in June of next year, but maintains that he does not wish to leave the club on a free transfer.

"I did not think about that," Eriksen told De Telegraaf, when asked if his appearance in the 5-0 victory over Willem II was his last in an Ajax shirt. "Maybe that will come in the next days."

"I didn't hear anything from my agent but, if something shows up, I feel like trying. When nothing comes up, I'll sign a new contract at Ajax because I want Ajax to earn something for me."

Dortmund's interest has been suggested after BVB playmaker Mario Gotze agreed a shock summer switch to Bayern Munich and Eriksen opined of the links: "That's not bad at all. We played against them two times and lost two times. That would be nice."
