Liverpool are interested in signing Chelsea's Victor Moses on a season-long loan deal as boss Brendan Rodgers looks for a new winger.
The Reds have made an initial enquiry to Chelsea about the 22-year-old, who could be allowed to leave the Blues on a temporary basis as his path to the first team appears blocked at Stamford Bridge.
The summer arrival of Andre Schurrle and the expected capture of former Reds target Willian means Moses is struggling to force his way into Jose Mourinho's Chelsea plans and is believed to be keen to head out on loan to get some regular action.
Moses made 23 appearances for the Blues last season and has been linked with a switch to Everton, as boss Roberto Martinez worked with the winger at Wigan, but Liverpool now appear favourites to land him.
Rodgers has admitted he wants to sign at least one wide player before the transfer deadline and has space in his first-team squad following Stewart Downing's recent move to West Ham.
