Valencia's Aly Cissokho admits he would be keen on a move to England in the wake of reports linking him with Liverpool.
The France international full-back was a target for the Anfield club in 2012 and, despite his transfer to Los Che from Lyon, his name has been connected with the five-time European champions again.
Sunderland and Everton were also thought to have looked at Cissokho, who won his one French cap in 2010, and he admits the dream of playing in the Premier League burns bright.
"I've never hidden the fact that the English league is the one that attracts me the most. It's pleasing to see my name linked with Liverpool," the 25-year-old told Le Parisien.
"They're a great club, and not just anyone can wear that shirt. But it is still just an article in a newspaper."
Cissokho is also driven by the possibility of facing boyhood idol David Beckham in a UEFA Champions League tie against Paris Saint Germain, which Valencia trail 1-2 going into the second leg in the French capital on Wednesday.
He added: "When I was little, I was a Manchester United fan, and so also of David Beckham. It's strange to think I'll be playing against him."
