Alex Inglethorpe hailed the return of Jon Flanagan after Liverpool U21s' 2-0 win over West Brom. The full-back played an hour at the Academy after recovering from a knee injury. Inglethorpe said: "Coming back from five months out, Jon did really well. He's one of those players who is so dependable and he made some fantastic runs." Goals from Nacho and skipper Conor Coady helped the Reds triumph in their final home game of the campaign. "We had the right balance between controlling the game and being imaginative," Inglethorpe added. "Suso was like a magician on the right, while Conor and Andre (Wisdom), who had also travelled with the first team to Reading, were very professional." Coady celebrated his eighth goal of the season after a stunning 25-yarder. He said: "It was one in a million from me that! I kept it low and thankfully it went in.
