Corinthians were also in the hunt for the 24-year-old - who had made it clear he would not be leaving Brazil despite interest from Europe with the likes of AC Milan, Liverpool, Chelsea and Manchester United all linked. Now Cruzeiro have announced that they have concluded a deal for the central defender and as part of that they will loan Alisson and Wellington Paulista to Vasco.
