Liverpool have been tipped to make a move for QPR striker Loic Remy in the summer if the London club are relegated.

The Frenchman joined QPR in January in an £8million deal from Marseilles but is expected to move on at the end of the season if the Hoops are relegated, as Remy is keen to be a part of the France squad for the 2014 World Cup.

The striker has managed five goals in 10 Premier League appearances for QPR, who are ten points adrift of safety with just four games to play following Saturday's loss at home to Stoke.

Reds boss Brendan Rodgers is keen to strengthen in the summer and has set his sights on Remy according to reports in the English press on Sunday.

If QPR are relegated they are unlikely to stand in Remy's way should they receive an offer, but the Loftus Road side will seek to recoup the £8million they forked out to capture the 26-year-old in the January transfer window.
