Chelsea, Liverpool and Manchester City have been told how much they will have to pay if they want to sign Shakhtar Donetsk star Henrik Mkhitaryan.

According to Russian publication Izvestia, the Ukrainian club have indicated to suitors that they will let the 24-year-old midfielder go if they receive a bid worth €30million.

Chelsea and Manchester City are both rumoured to be looking for additions in the forward area and a report in the Mirror claimed they had been watching Mkhitaryan closely.

Liverpool were also credited with an interest in the Armenia international, with Anfield manager Brendan Rodgers reportedly seeing him as the perfect attacking midfield addition.

However, Liverpool would struggle to match the spending power of both Chelsea and Manchester City - the €30million price tag would be a significant obstacle on it's own.

Chelsea owner Roman Abramovich is reportedly keen to add firepower to his squad at Stamford Bridge, though a striker has been touted as the more likely addition.

Meanwhile, Manchester City have not had a huge goalscoring presence from midfield this season and Mkhitaryan certainly gets his fair share of those.

He has found the net 21 times in 32 games for Shakhtar this season playing from midfield and has been impressing many of Europe's best sides.

The report in Izvestia claims big-spending sides from the Russian league are ready to rival the interest from Premier League clubs.
