Sunderland goalkeeper Simon Mignolet is reported to be close to a summer move to Liverpool with the Belgian set to have a medical next week. Liverpool have continued their pro-active start to the transfer window following the addition of defender Kolo Toure on a free transfer. Negotiations have been on-going between the two clubs but Press Association Sport understands that the deal is at a point where further personal terms and the organisation of a medical can be discussed.
