Wigan striker Arouna Kone has entertained the idea of a move to Liverpool or Everton in the summer. Kone proved his worth for the Latics in his debut season and was instrumental in helping them to an unlikely FA Cup final victory over Manchester City. The Ivory Coast international is thought to have a £6.5m release clause in his contract which neither Everton or Liverpool would have problems triggering. And Kone has dropped his clearest hint that he wants to continue playing in the top-flight. Kone scored 13 goals last term for Wigan, and still has two years to run on his contract.
