Liverpool are set to rekindle their interest in Werder Bremen winger Eljero Elia who has been on and off their radar for a while. The Dutch ace was wanted at Anfield when he was playing for Hamburg but they missed out on a move as he chose Italy's Serie A Scudetto winners Juventus instead. He spent most of the season in Italy sat on the bench with just four appearances to his name before he managed to get a move to Bremen for £5m. He has since rekindled the interest with a good season in Germany and Brendan Rodgers is considering making a move to add him to his squad so he can join up with fellow new signings Kolo Toure, Luis Alberto and Iago Aspas.
