Liverpool are looking to have their transfer business done by the end of this week, according to CaughtOffside and the Mirror, as they report the Reds will snap up five players in a £39million spree.

Brendan Rodgers will reportedly have his business done with the signings of five players.

The Mirror claim that Liverpool will have made the additions by the end of the week, and Henrikh Mkhitaryan, the £22million man from Shakhtar Donestk, may even have his medical in the next day or two.

The attacking midfielder will be a major coup for Liverpool should he sign, as a host of Champions League clubs have been chasing him. He had a great season for the Ukrainian side last term, scoring 25 times from midfield.

The Mirror go on to say that Porto winger, Christian Atsu will also be a Liverpool player in a deal worth up to £3million, while Liverpool are expected to wrap up the £5million signing of Sevilla attacker Luis Alberto.

CaughtOffside claim that a Liverpool move to sign Sunderland keeper Simon Mignolet may be close to completion.

Liverpool have announced a deal in principal to sign Iago Aspas from Celta Vigo for £7million, however, the deal is not yet completed, but the Mirror again believe that may be a deal finished by the weekend.
