Liverpool have continued their summer rebuilding programme by agreeing a deal for Sunderland shot stopper Simon Mignolet. The fee is believed to be in excess of £11m and comes after several weeks of discussions between the two clubs. Mignolet is now due to arrive on Merseyside next week to undergo a medical and negotiate personal terms. The Belgian's impending arrival would no doubt provide competition for Pepe Reina.
