Verona manager Andrea Mandorlini admits he faces a battle to keep hold of Arsenal and Liverpool target Jorginho in January.
The talented playmaker was a key member of the side who won promotion to Serie A last season - and has been superb this term, scoring five in eight games.
Arsenal and Liverpool are both monitoring the 21-year-old and could make their move in the January transfer window.
And now boss Mandorlini has conceded that they may be forced to sell.
"I know, only too well, that it will be hard to keep the likes of Jorginho," he told Radio Anch'io Lo Sport.
"But behind them we are already allowing others to grow and mature. We are making use of those youngsters who are given little space but who will have an important future for this club."
