LIVERPOOL and Arsenal face competition from Serie A giants Juventus and Fiorentina to sign Italian Under-21 international Jorginho.
The Brazil-born youngster was linked with a move to Liverpool over the summer, and Arsene Wenger is also thought to be monitoring Jorginho's development.
But reports in Italy suggest that Juventus and Fiorentina are now ready to fight it out for the 21-year-old's signature.
According to Tuttosport, both clubs have been impressed with Jorginho's start to the season and are ready to bid £7m for the midfielder.
Lazio were also thought to be interested but their offer of just over £4m was rejected out of hand by Verona.
Jorginho has been at the centre of Verona's surprise start to the season, contributing three assists in eight games and helping his side to fifth in Serie A.
