Liverpool are very keen in snapping up Hatem Ben Arfa from Newcastle United this summer. The Merseyside giants have shown interest in the French attacking midfielder before, with an approach of sorts coming several months ago. Now, according to French sports daily L'Equipe, Liverpool have, in the last few days, once again shown interest in the former Marseille man and are eyeing tempting him to Anfield. Ben Arfa is under contract at Newcastle until 2015 and the Magpies want to keep hold of their creative starlet. Liverpool may be encouraged by comments from the 26-year-old in January this year though, when they were directly mentioned as a possible future destination. A number of other clubs are keeping tabs on Ben Arfa's situation, with the France international highly rated throughout the Premier League and back in his homeland.
