Porto have announced that they are ready to listen to offers to Ghana winger Christian Atsu after the player refused to sign a new contract.

Atsu has been banned from training with the Porto first-team upon their return from a pre-season tour of Holland, of which he was also left out.

Atsu has a year remaining on his current deal but Porto boss Paulo Fronceca now seems ready to cut ties with the talented youngster rather than lose him for nothing in a year's time.

Liverpool had been linked with a move for the 21-year-old but reportedly ended their interest after having a £3m bid turned down.

Brendan Rodgers is now thought to be focussing on developing Liverpool's existing young wide players Raheem Sterling and Jordon Ibe instead.

And that has opened the door for both Tottenham and Everton, who, according to Sky Sports, now head the queue for Atsu, although Liverpool could yet be enticed back into the race.
