It does not necessarily represent the position of Liverpool Football Club.   Derby County boss Nigel Clough says he expects England Under-21 midfielder Will Hughes to stay at the club despite reported interest from Liverpool. Hughes, 18, has been regularly linked with Premier League sides since breaking into the team last season. Clough told BBC East Midlands Today on Wednesday that there had been no offers and added: "If someone makes a bid or enquiry we will have to react to it. "I think he will still be playing for us next week." Hughes had an impressive first full season of Championship football, playing 35 games despite not featuring since mid-February because of a groin injury.
