The agent of Turkey international Arda Turan has encouraged Liverpool and Arsenal to bid for his client and says the winger would jump at the chance to move to the Premier League.

Turan, 26, has consistently been linked with a move to England since his time at former club Galatasaray.

He joined Atletico Madrid in the summer of 2011 and has been a key player for them, playing a major role in their Europa League success of 2012 and Copa del Rey triumph the following season.

But his agent Ahmet Bulut has suggested he would be happy to move on from the Vicente Calderon if Arsenal or Liverpool match his £29m buy-out clause.

He told Tuttomercatoweb.com: "The club does not want to sell Arda. However, if we were to get an offer equal to his £29m buy-out clause Atletico should listen to such a proposal.

"Arsenal and Liverpool? A destination in the Premier League would be to the liking of the player and I can confirm there are clubs interested, like the two mentioned.

"At the moment there are no concrete offers, only preliminary contacts."
