Retiring Liverpool football star Jamie Carragher is set to be signed up as a Sky Sports pundit. The defender, 35, who will quit playing at the end of the season, has been offered a big money deal to join Sky. It would see the former England star paired with ex-Manchester United rival Gary Neville, who has been a big hit during his 18 months in front of the camera. Sources close to Jamie said all the major channels have been offering work, with new big hitters BT Sport making a "serious approach". But he is leaning towards Sky and both parties hope to seal the deal well before the start of next season. Last night a TV source said: "Sky think he will be absolutely perfect and are most excited about teaming him up with Gary Neville.
