As footballers across the country prepare for pre-season training, several Premier League stars took one final opportunity to hone their skills on the golf course.
Liverpool captain Steven Gerrard hosted a charity tournament on behalf of his foundation and the midfielder was joined by Scott Parker, Joleon Lescott and Gareth Barry on the Laranjal course at the Quinta do Lago resort in Portugal.
The players were joined by celebrities including DJ Spoony, Dan Walker and Max Rushden.
Gerrard set up his foundation two years ago in order to provide funding for a range of children's charitable organisations and projects.
As a result, the foundation has been able to help a range of charities including Claire House, Fairbridge, Zoe's Place, Stick and Step, Irish Autism Action, Brainwave, Presfield, Peterhouse, Rare And after this latest to Quinta the foundation was able to donate to six Portuguese charities.
