Liverpool and Spurs have been handed a boost in their chase for Ajax playmaker Christian Eriksen, after Borussia Dortmund denied their interest in the player.
Reports have surfaced in recently that Eriksen is destined for a move to Borussia Dortmund, as they seek to fill the void left behind by Mario Gotze.
Though Spurs and Liverpool may not be able to offer the riches of Champions League football, Eriksen hasn't hidden his desire to play at a higher level.
And it seems they are still firmly in frame for him, following Dortmund sporting director Michael Zorc's concession that no deal has been agreed for Eriksen.
"I have read [the Eriksen rumours] with amazement," Zorc told Dortmund paper Ruhr Nachrichten.
Eriksen is currently valued at £15m, which wouldn't deter either side although Spurs are also courting Paulinho and Inter Milan's Fredy Guarin.
He hit nine goals in the Eredivisie for the Dutch champions last term.
