Sky Sports understands that a host of Premier League clubs have joined the chase for Porto's Ghana international Christian Atsu.
Atsu is entering the final year of his contract at Porto and has previously made it clear that he wants to leave after turning down the chance to sign a new deal.
He has also expressed an interest in moving to the Premier League and Liverpool are understood to be tracking his situation.
It is now thought that a number of other English clubs have identified Atsu as a possible target and may be considering a move for the 21-year-old.
Atsu has impressed on the wing for Porto over the past couple of seasons and has also caught the eye with his performances at international level.
He scored on Sunday in a 2-0 World Cup qualifying victory away to Lesotho.
