Liverpool have turned their attentions to Hellas Verona star Jorginho after apparently failing in their pursuit of Shakhtar Donetsk midfielder Henrikh Mkhitaryan. Boss Brendan Rodgers is looking at playmaker Jorginho - full name Jorge Luiz Frello Filho - with Liverpool ready to make a £7.5m offer. The Brazilian-born 21-year-old, who has featured for Italy at U21 level, has also attracted interest from Arsenal and AC Milan after helping Verona win promotion to Serie A last season. Rodgers has already been busy in the transfer market so far this summer, bringing in Luis Alberto (Sevilla), Iago Aspas (Celta Vigo), Simon Mignolet (Sunderland) and free agent and former Manchester City defender Kolo Toure.
