Liverpool only need to complete the formalities on the signing of Iago Aspas, according to numerous sources, with the striker set for a medical with the club today. Aspas has impressed in La Liga with his 12 goals contributing to Celta Vigo's fight to stay in the top flight, as the side eventually finished 17th in the 2012-13 season. The Reds have been looking at building on their attacking line-up, and could consider a big name striker. Aspas has widely been considered a top target for the club, and BBC Sport claim that he is currently undergoing a medical with Liverpool as the club edge closer to confirming a deal for the 25 year old to make the move to England.
