Brendan Rodgers  is closing in on two of his summer transfer targets at Liverpool, with Sporting Lisbon's Tiago Ilori poised to join Celta Vigo forward Iago Aspas at Anfield. Personal terms have been agreed with Aspas over a £7.7 million move from Spain to Liverpool, who could be confirmed as a Reds player as early as this weekend. And Portuguese centre-back Tiago Ilori is set to follow him to Merseyside, with Liverpool in negotiations to sign the 20-year-old. According to the Liverpool Echo, a figure of around £3m has been offered for Ilori, who has played at youth level for Portugal. Rodgers may eye the defender as a long-term replacement for the retired Jamie Carragher, with Kolo Toure also drafted in as cover at the back. Ilori and Aspas are both expected to complete moves to the Premier League club this summer, with only small details yet to be finalised before the latter seals his switch.
