Inter Milan will launch a move for Arsenal and Liverpool target Martin Montoya if Erick Thohir completes his takeover of the club.
The San Siro giants are set for a cash injection if Thohir buys current Inter president Massimo Morratti's majority stake and they will prioritise the acquisition of Montoya, the Barcelona defender.
The 22-year-old, who is out of contract at the Nou Camp in June, has yet to appear under new Barca boss Tata Martino and has Dani Alves blocking his path to a first-team place.
Jose Maria Orobitg, the player's agent, recently revealed that the player is open to a move away from Barcelona.
And Inter could look to capitalise on the uncertainty over Montoya's by making a January bid for his services.
