Paris Saint-German defender Mamadou Sakho is not prepared to make a decision on his future before learning the identity of the club's new coach, according to French sports daily L'Equipe.
Sakho is considering his position at the Parc des Prince, having seen his playing time suffer last season and with thoughts of regular first team football in the run-up to the 2014 World Cup at the forefront of his mind.
Both Monaco and Liverpool are keeping an eye on the centre-back's situation.
But Sakho is determined not to make a hasty decision. Indeed, the defender is first waiting to see just who PSG's coach will be for next season.
Incumbent Carlo Ancelotti is the subject of fierce interest from Real Madrid and could take over at the Bernabeu, succeeding Jose Mourinho.
And whoever PSG appoint as his successor could change the dynamic for Sakho.
The 23-year-old's contract with PSG runs until the summer of 2014.
