Liverpool and Norwich have both set their sights on bringing Juventus attacking pair Fabio Quagliarella and Alessandro Matri to the Premier League this summer.
Reports surfacing on the continent suggest that the duo have been told by Bianconeri coach Antonio Conte that they are surplus to requirements.
Norwich are thought to be lining up a bid in the region of £6m for his services.
It is also thought that Mirko Vucinic is no longer required, after Juventus secured a deal for Carlos Tevez.
Quagliarella, who saw his stock rise during the Champions League last season, scored 13 times in all competitions.
His strike partner, Matri, was less productive, notching up 10 goals in all competitions.
