LIVERPOOL face fierce competition from Borussia Dortmund for the signature of Rubin Kazan forward Salomon Rondon. Brendan Rodgers has also been looking at Luis Muriel as he looks to make attacking reinforcements. Though Robert Lewandowski is set to stay at Dortmund for another season, they appear to be making contingency plans should he leave. According to Spanish publication Marca, Dortmund have already initiated early contact with Kazan to enquire about his price tag. They also suggest that Kazan would want to recoup as much of the £8.7m they forked out for him to take him from Malaga. Rondon scored 7 as a starter in 20 matches with Kazan.
