Sevilla are lining up a bid for Liverpool target Kevin Gameiro - hinting that Manchester City's deal for Alvaro Negredo is close.
Striker Gameiro joined Paris St-Germain in 2011 but has become a bit-part player in the now star-studded squad.
It has been reported that he is desperate to leave this summer, with Liverpool among the clubs chasing him.
But they could miss out on the Frenchman, who was wanted by Tottenham and Arsenal before he left Lorient for Paris, with a move to Spain now on the cards.
It is thought that Sevilla view the frontman as a ready-made replacement for Negredo, who is thought to be on the verge of joining Manuel Pellegrini at Manchester City.
The La Liga club are currently holding talks with PSG to finalise a deal for Gameiro, who started just seven Ligue 1 games last term.
