Fresh inquests into the Hillsborough disaster will be held in an office building on a Warrington business park.
The 305 Bridgewater Place building at Birchwood Park will house the hearing room and the inquest team, according to commercial property management firm GVA.
Equipped with what is described as a "comprehensive" security system, work will start on fitting out the building before Christmas. The inquests are due to start by March 31, 2014.
The building was awarded the 'best commercial space' award in 2009 by the British Council of Offices, and has 15,457 sq ft of ground floor space which will be used by the inquests.
Coroner Lord Justice Goldring has already indicated he wanted the venue to have enough space for families to consult with their legal teams in private.
David Thwaites from GVA, who advised the Ministry of Justice on the choice of venue, said: "In view of the high-profile nature of the inquests and the interest it is likely to generate an easily accessible building was essential.
"Birchwood and Bridgewater Place in particular was the obvious choice due to the building's excellent transport links and car parking facilities, in addition to its wide range of on-site amenities."
