Steven Gerrard is storing up another ton of trouble for Premier League clubs after passing a career milestone for the club he has supported since childhood.

The Liverpool captain scored his 100th Premier League goal - a penalty - in the 2-2 draw at Newcastle yesterday.

And manager Brendan Rodgers warned opponents that are are plenty more to come from England star.

"He's a great player and there are more goals to come from him at the age of 33," said Rodgers.

Gerrard said: "It's taken a while and everyone has talked about the 100 goals, so it is nice to have scored it.

"I still remember the first goal - it was Sheffield Wednesday at home. I went past Des Walker, a hero of mine, and slotted it away.

"Your career goes so quickly that you have to cherish every moment."
