Liverpool target Cristian Tello has hinted he will consider his Barcelona future at the end of the season.

The 22-year-old forward has struggled to establish himself in the Barca first team after breaking through to the senior set up three years ago.

He is currently competing with Lionel Messi, Neymar, Alexis Sanchez and a long list of others for a place in attack - and has made just six appearances in La Liga so far this season.

With his place in the side not assured, Tello has been linked with moves away from Spain and Liverpool are one of the interested sides.

The young Spaniard is usually deployed on one of the flanks in a 4-3-3 system that is similar to the one used by Brendan Rodgers.

And the Reds boss might make his move if the Spanish giants decide to let the Spain international leave.

Speaking to Spanish newspaper Sport, Tello admitted he might look to leave if his struggle for game time continues.

"Right now I am very happy, but next year we'll see," he said.

"Every year I've felt more integrated into the team, more mature, but then every year you want to play as much and when the season ends we'll see what suits me best.

"[I want to be] playing as much as possible but I know who I have in front of me. But hey I'm ready to play it all if needed.

"I know that I can perform at the top, but that's the coach's decision. He has to choose between all of his options."
