Liverpool skipper Steven Gerrard scored his 100th Premier League goal with a 42nd minute equaliser against Newcastle at St James' Park.
The one-club man has played 449 league games for Liverpool and becomes the 24th player to reach their century.
Mapou Yanga-Mbiwa was shown a red card after a clumsy foul on Luis Suarez in the box and the ever-reliable Gerrard stepped up to rifle home in trademark style from 12 yards.

ASTON VILLA (away), August 2007
With the game locked at 1-1 with three minutes left, Gerrard bore down on a free-kick directly in line with goalkeeper Stuart Taylor's left-hand post, 25 yards out.
His right-footed effort went away from the goal before ripping back in and beating Taylor in the top left-hand corner for a spectacular winner.
EVERTON (away), September 2001
Liverpool were cup treble winners when they went to the home of their near-neighbours in September 2001 and Gerrard helped them show just why as part of a 3-1 win.
After a Kevin Campbell opener for the Blues, Gerrard picked up the ball outside the box, stripped past David Unsworth to reach the right-hand side of the area and then arrowed a shot across Paul Gerrard's goal and into the top left corner.
MANCHESTER UNITED (home), March 2001
This was one of the goals that helped shape Gerrard's reputation as a dynamic midfielder.
Advancing on United's goal, he reached 25 yards out before unleashing a brilliant strike which left keeper Fabien Barthez with no chance. A new Kop hero was born.
NEWCASTLE (away), November 2007
Another free-kick for Gerrard's collection. Thirty yards out at St James' Park and in line with Shay Given's right-hand post, scoring seemed unlikely.
However, Lucas Leiva rolled the ball a foot to the right and Gerrard drove it beyond Given, who boldly stood five yards off his line. It was a bad move.
MIDDLESBROUGH (home), August 2008
When Mido put Boro ahead at Anfield they thought they were heading for a memorable win. Even when Emanuel Pogatetz put through his own goal with four minutes left they were set for a draw.
Then, in injury time, the ball sat up for Gerrard, 35 yards out. He took a touch, let it roll down his front and then dispatched a brilliant, dipping volley over Ross Turnbull for a late winner.
