Former Liverpool defender Danny Wilson will remain at crisis-hit Hearts.
The Tynecastle club have received confirmation that signing the 21-year-old would not breach their registration embargo.
Wilson had agreed a three-year deal with Hearts following a loan move from Liverpool last season.
Wilson was still on loan to Hearts until June 30 and the ban, imposed after the club entered administration, applies only to new players.
Hearts boss Gary Locke said: "I'm delighted he's signed a deal."
