Liverpool are being tipped to launch an £8m raid on QPR for French striker Loic Remy.
The 26-year-old Remy joined the R's in an £8million deal in January but his arrival has failed to help the club's chances of avoiding the drop and Harry Redknapp's men now look certainties for a return to the Championship next term.
The former Marseille forward has scored five goals in nine appearances for Rangers and remains a highly-rated striker, who was interesting several Premier League clubs before his move to Loftus Road.
Arsenal are among the other clubs monitoring Remy's situation and the France international will definitely move on in the summer when QPR's relegation fate is confirmed in the next few weeks.
Liverpool boss Brendan Rodgers is weighing up his options up front and could consider Remy as a cut-price recruit as he looks to bolster his frontline.
