Liverpool are said to be one of the clubs on the trail of highly-rated Porto striker Jackson Martinez but face a battle to land him.
Not only is Brendan Rodgers interested in the Colombian but Manchester United, Galatasaray and a number of big-spending Russian clubs as well, so Rodgers faces an uphill battle to bring him to Anfield.
Portuguese newspaper O Jogo claims that Porto are now preparing themselves for a huge bid for the prolific striker with Turkish giants Galatasaray ready to open the bidding at a whopping £37.5m but the Russians are also set to match that sort of offer.
After joining from Mexican club Jaguares last summer, Martinez has scored 23 goals in 25 league appearances in Portugal this season.
