Jonathan Dos Santos has opened the door to a possible summer switch to Liverpool after admitting he is becoming increasingly frustrated with his bit-part role at Barcelona.
Dos Santos, 22, has spent his entire football career with the Catalan giants, but has recently expressed his unhappiness at his lack of first-team appearances for the league leaders.
Despite being widely considered as one of the best young talents around, the Mexico international has been consigned to Barcelona's B team, having made just 10 first-team appearances to date.
Speaking to the Spanish media, Dos Santos said: "Next season is incredibly important to me. I want to play more and more often.
"At the end of the season, I will sit down and see what's best for me."
The news will be well received by Dos Santos' Premier League suitors, particularly Liverpool who have long been linked with a move for the 22-year-old starlet.
Dos Santos' path to the first-team is blocked as he faces competition from Thiago, Cesc Fabregas, Xavi, Andres Iniesta and Sergio Busquets.
With fellow youngster Sergi Roberto returning from injury, it could be hard for the Mexican to get any game time, so a switch to England looks increasingly likely.
